Monash Community Raffle 2008 - Thankyou

As indicated in previous issues of Tribal Talk, the Monash Community Raffle is one of the main fundraisers for the Camberwell Lacrosse Club, with 77% of proceeds returned to the Club.

A BIG thank you to everyone who sold their raffle tickets, and well done to the U18 boys team which was the first team to return all of their raffle tickets by the due date. A great effort as they have the most team members (with 19 players) of all the CLC teams.

Welcome to your Club Rooms

Are you one of those parents or supporters who stands in the cold and dark, or sits in your parked car while your child trains with team mates?

Why not come into the club room and enjoy the facilities that you help to pay for? After all, it's your club too. Enjoy a hot drink, or maybe a hot snack, and mix with fellow parents and supporters. Meet some of the club volunteers and officials. Learn what is going on around the club to support its players and to make life more interesting for supporters and friends.

Girls/Women's Uniforms Update

Due to low number of uniform stock, Bronwen Ch'ng has asked if past players (girls or women) would be interested in donating (or the club could buy back) their unwanted uniforms.

If you know someone who has left the club but may be interested, please pass on this message.

Contact Bronwen on 9885 9385 (after hours) or bchng@korowa.vic.edu.au.

Run Melbourne is Victoria's new major community fitness event, with the following walk or run options through the most picturesque parts of our city options available:

Would anyone be interested in entering this event as part of a Camberwell Lacrosse Club team?

Monash Community Raffle Reminder

A final reminder that any sold or unsold Monash Community Raffle tickets (and money collected) must be returned to either Clinton Lander or your team manager/representative by no later than this Saturday 17th May.

Invitation to all Junior Parents

On training nights, parents of junior players are invited to come in out of the cold and wait in the clubroom. If the kitchen is open, also feel free to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee.

Congratulations!

Matt Kerr, Adam Wiltgren, Tom Churchward, and Tim Mills (selected as an alternate), who have been named in the South-East Titans team.
