On very short notice, Camberwell Lacrosse Club mounted a modest but informative stand at the Ashburton Street Festival on Sunday 22 February. Lacking any significant signage, our members provided some colour and movement by displaying some basic lacrosse skills. We handed out lots of information brochures on lacrosse and about Camberwell Lacrosse Club.

Once again, thank you to all our members who helped to run the stand on the day.

Training starts Thursday February 5th @ 6.30 pm at Dorothy Laver East (Saxby). Helmets, gloves and runners required.

Lacrosse Australia have today announced the 2010 Australian Mens Lacrosse Squad.

The selection has been based on those who competed at the recent Australian Championships in Perth. Congratulations to the 57 players who have made the squad.

Lacrosse Australia has established a fourth team to give players who have not been selected in a State Team, or who come from another State, the opportunity to gain selection in the Australian Squad. Access to this team will be through registering your expression of interest with the Team Coaches Mr Ken Nichols and Mr Jim Buchanan.

Any player interested in participating in the National Championships in Perth please complete the attached Expression of Interest form and return by email no later than the 31st August 2008.
