Social Calendar - 2008

The CLC Committee is busily planning an exciting range of social events for this year. Tentative dates to mark in your diaries are:

* In-house games night - TBA (June)
$10 entry: includes 1 drink and finger food, an array of games to play (including darts, cards, billiards), and other prizes on offer.

* 10 pin bowling - TBA (late July)
Price and venue TBA - Includes 1 or 2 games of bowling, shoe hire, finger food and select drinks. If interested, contact Anthony Deicmanis.

* Trivia Night - 2nd August
A highlight of the CLC calendar each year. Please contact Reg Bugeja if you have something to donate (prizes are desperately wanted!).

Also contact Reg (or one of the other Committee members) if you can provide the Committee with suggestions (and contact details) of businesses you deal with which may be able to offer good or services as prizes.

* Junior Presentation Night - 5th September
* Shopping Tour - TBA (late September)

A fantastic day out for the club mums, women/girl players, wives/girlfriends, and other club supporters. [Men/boys are of course also more than welcome!]

10 or more factory outlets, manufacturers and wholesalers will be visited throughout the course of the day, with the option of also dropping in on nearby outlets not on the set list.

Price TBA (depending on numbers) will include coach transportation, a driver and hostess, a delicious restaurant lunch, dessert and drinks (with a yummy morning tea option), fantastic raffles, plenty of bargains (up to 85% off RRP), and guaranteed laughs.

* Senior Presentation Night - 4th October
* Lawn bowls - TBA (end of season)

Aside from Junior and Senior Presentation Nights, the other social events listed above are contingent on sufficient interest being received. To avoid the disappointment of missing out on tickets (or worse still, of these events being cancelled), please contact the Committee members listed above ASAP.
