Announcing our senior teams for 2014

After much deliberation the committee has decided to field only 2 Senior Men’s teams in 2014. This year we have seen a reduction in the availability of player numbers due to various reasons including work, study, travel, injury and retirement.

While we are down from 3 teams in in prior years, 2014 will see the promotion of the second team to Division 1, which is long overdue if Camberwell is to be successful at the State League level.

Online registration now open!

Camberwell Lacrosse Club is pleased to announce that LV registration process is now open.

You asked for it, and it is now here. In 2014, registration will be online, through Sporting Pulse website. We were hoping to make it available to you at Registration Day, but due to delays, not within our control, this was not possible.

A few important notes:

Men’s officiating accreditation

As you all know, providing a club official is mandatory and failure to do so results in penalties handed out to the club by LV. Officiating is also a good opportunity to make some extra money while helping your club out. We need all of those who have volunteered, as well as anyone else interested in helping with officiating to become accredited.

When: Sunday, 18/5, 9am – 12pm

Mouth guards compulsory for 2014 season

Please note that mouth guards are compulsory for the 2014 season for all Lacrosse Victoria Junior Boys and Girls, and Senior Women’s competitions. Refer to rules: http://lacrossevictoria.com.au/downloads/

State League season begins, team announced

Come and support the State League team as they take on the defending champions, Footscray, in the season opener.

As has been the case in recent years, round 1 will again be played at Bendigo. This is a home game for us so we are counting on everyone for a showing to give the team the home feel, even if it is not on our home turf.

This time we have 4 juniors taking a step up and making the grade, so special good luck to Ben, Nick, Aaron and Eddy.

When: Sun., 27/4 @ 1pm
