The Tanks are rolling

The Under 11 Camberwell Tanks faced MCC with three players missing but a loan of two from the Cannons got them to a full starting line-up.   They didn’t take long to get rolling with Nicholls, Frawley and Seibel netting 5 goals and MCC held scoreless during the first period.

Balzat-Fuller was everywhere on the midfield, scrapping for groundballs, driving Camberwell into attack and scoring with a nicely placed high shot.  Seibel, Frawley and Nicholls continued to hit the scoreboard as MCC ramped up their game to get the three quarter score to 11-5 in favour of the Tanks.  Jasper Forsyth switched to attack and got himself free for his first goal but he was ruled in the goal crease.  He fixed that soon after with two goals from close on the crease.  Thompson had less work as goalkeeper this week but showed his good reading of the play with some timely runs out of the crease to pick up loose balls and clear to the Camberwell midfield.
