U13 Camberwell Blitz 17 def Melbourne University 2

With new player Tom Sharp lining up the Blitz finally had a bench, albeit of only one as Colby Gale missed with injury and Miles Cowton is still ill.

The Wells got away to a quick start with Falconer-Boag and Ned McKenna each posting two first quarter goals and Zac Bigaignon adding to make it 5-0.  Camberwell were controlling the face-off and getting quickly to attack.  Bigaignon took advantage with three second term goals to have the Wells 8-1 up at the half.  With the game well under control lots of positional changes were made and E. Whelen, Campbell, F.McKenna  scored while Ashby showed his skill at face-off with three fine wins. Tubb took over the goal-keeping to release Barber into attack and he found the net after a dodging play while Bigaignon and N. McKenna added others. Tom Sharp had chances to score in the last term but was foiled by the goalie.

Scorers:  Bigaignon 5, N. McKenna 4, Falconer-Boag 3, F. McKenna 2, E. Whelen, Barber, Campbell
