Inaugural Glenn Horder Shield

Saturday, 23rd of August, 2:30pm

Glenn Horder, who sadly passed away in 2013, started his lacrosse career as a junior at (the now defunct) Mitcham Lacrosse Club. He then moved on to play for Surrey Park for a number of years, finishing his playing days, including a stint as coach, at Camberwell.

To honour GIenn's memory, Camberwell and Surrey Park Lacrosse Clubs have decided to commemorate his legacy by establishing the Glenn Horder Shield. The shield will be contested each year when their state league teams meet during the regular season.

2014 marks the first year of this tradition which we hope will continue for many years to come. The match starts at 2.30pm at Surrey's Mont Albert grounds. We would love too see as many of his friends and lacrosse buddies there.
