Coaching with the Camberwell Lacrosse Club

Almost all lacrosse players can remember their first coach. The person who introduced them to this wonderful game and coached them in their first season.

Coaches are a vital part of our club, and the sport, and we wouldn't survive without them. They are the generous people who give up their nights and weekends to ensure our players have the right support from the sidelines helping them in their development.

All of our junior coaches are volunteers, but in this day and age, the logistical and related costs our coaches do incur are not insignificant.

For season 2021, the Club committee has decided to introduce a Coaches Support Program.

The Coaches Support Program is designed to assist our coaches in their coaching career progressions as well as assisting them with the expenses they incur along the way.

The Coaches Support Program includes the following:

  • Club funded Level 1 Lacrosse Coaching certification.
  • Club funded umpiring certification for the relevant age group.
  • Working with Children check.
  • A one-off payment of $150 per team.
  • A ticket to the senior's presentation night.
  • A club branded Chief's coaching polo.
  • A club branded Chief's cap.
  • A club branded Chief's beanie.

This program is open to all players, parents and volunteers.
