2020 Summer junior lacrosse

Lacrosse Victoria is excited to announce a summer 2020 Junior 6v6 competition. This competition will be facilitated within all COVID-19 rules and regulations from State and Local Government. We hope to see you out on the grounds in a few weeks!

Dates:

  • Junior Boys Saturday 14 November – Saturday 19 December
  • Junior Girls Sunday 15 November – Sunday 20 December

Locations:

  • Ground 1 Altona & Newport Ladies Lacrosse Clubs and
  • Ground 2 MCC - Beaumaris Secondary College 

Grades & Divisions: In line with State Government policies, anyone aged 18 and under can participate in contact sport. In line with this to maximise participation, Lacrosse Victoria will slightly adjust our age groups to the following in both Boys and Girls (These adjustments are for the summer competition only):

  • U19s: Anyone born on or after 01/01/2002
  • U16s: Anyone born on or after 01/01/2005
  • U13s: Anyone born on or after 01/01/2008
  • U11s: Anyone born on or after 01/01/2010

Rules: The rules for the 6v6 competition will be available for all to learn shortly. These rules differ from the traditional 10v10 competition we play in the winter.
