Frustration for Doug Fox

Doug is feeling totally frustrated by a recent period of feeling unwell leading up to two weeks of hospitalization and ultimately a diagnosis of Hodgkins Lymphoma.  This has kept him from active involvement with the current junior recruiting and will limit his opportunity to coach juniors this year. He was very much looking forward to an exciting year with the arrival of a great bunch of new Under 15 girls, a second boy's Under 13 team and a new bunch of Under 11's and Under 9's.

The Lymphoma is very treatable and curable and Doug is highly positive about the future outcome. He has now commenced a six months program of strong chemotherapy and ancillary treatment which will curtail him but we will see him around the club whenever he is feeling up to it.

The Club wishes Doug all the best in his recovery and we look forward seeing him cheering on Camberwell at the 2019 finals.
