Junior recruitment drive makes excellent progress

Huge thanks to all who have helped with the junior recruitment drives at Hartwell, St. Michaels, Solway, and Camberwell Sth. Lacrosse Victoria has a little saying that “Recruitment of new players is the answer to any lacrosse problems”. The final ‘come n try’ session for new players was held Saturday 2 April just before the registration day program.

A new VICLAX Under 11 program was held at Chadstone on 10 April where new players were able to try out on women’s competition days. Another program is to be held at Camberwell on 1 May. Everyone is welcome to come on this day even if they missed out on the recruitment drives. Start time is 8.45am. Drill will be practised for 40 minutes, followed by a small game. As before, teams will be mixed from all clubs. Special thanks to Laura and Aimee who have volunteered to run this program.
