Under 12’s tournament report Sunday May 29th

Camberwell’s Under 12’s played their first lightning carnival on Sunday. It was a brisk autumn morning and the team was pumped. Six other teams competed at the Footscray lacrosse club. With every 7 minute game, Camberwell got more competitive and stronger. It was a great introduction to checking. Tia scored her first goal which then flowed on to more scores. Mia flew down the field often working seamlessly with her brother Hudson. Amelia was a brave goalie not flinching and saved us more than once. With 2 games under her belt, Charlotte P was consistently in the mix of defence. While Lacey and Charlotte were strong in attack. 

 

The team came 3rd overall taking home a much loved ribbon. Tia Blumenthal played her best games yet and was the clear player of the tournament - well done to all!
