U11 Girls VICLAX Programme

Lacrosse Victoria is trialling a new programme for girls U11 called VICLAX. The programme will be integrated into the women’s fixture. It is in the style of AUSKICK where players from all clubs come together in groups regardless of club. Players are rotated through stations of different activities where they will be professionally coached in different skills. A short game will be played afterwards.

VICLAX will give the kids an opportunity to mix with players from other clubs, learn and enjoy a wider variety of skills and experience the type of program older age groups enjoy when trialling for state teams.

Additionally, VICLAX aims to recruit new players - local kids can try the activities without having to commit to a season. Hopefully they will have fun and decide to join a club.

VICLAXwill run for 8 weeks, returning to our normal home and away games for the remaining 8 games. They will be held on Sunday mornings as the usual club locations.

Camberwell will be hosting a women’s round in 1 May and a VICLAX programme will be held then.
